Walking on Water to Jesus
I wanted to share a little reflection on the spiritual life and the steps life and Our Lord has helped me take. One thing stands out in the growth my life has taken: “less is becoming more”. The road has become narrower, the ease of options via extremities has become far less appealing. There seems to be far more narrow choices, narrow paths, but choices that have become far more meaningful and fulfilling.

Calabar Goes Agog for Easter
Calabar — There is an inexplicable force that is pulling Nigerians and non Nigerians to Calabar, the capital of Cross River State for religious reasons. Could it be because of the many religious festivals and feasts organizations now frequently hold?
Perhaps more than any other parts of Nigeria, the South-south and South-Eeast have the commanding presence of churches. But it is in Calabar, described as a Spiritual City that the preponderance of religions, not just churches, but a myriad of followership has now become another source of attention.
In this month of Easter - a period when Christians mark the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, a vast array of worshippers have flocked from far and near into the city.
What is surprising however is, despite the numerous Christian groupings and their teeming faithful, there is apparent harmony amongst them contrary to expectation.

Christians Mark Palm Sunday
ONE week to this year’s Easter Sunday and still basking in the euphoria of the inauguration of a new Catholic Pontiff, Pope Francis, Catholics the world over and other orthodox denominations will today celebrate the Palm Sunday, the triumphal entry of Jesus Christ into Jerusalem.
Palm Sunday is a Christian moveable feast that falls on the Sunday before Easter. The feast commemorates Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusal-em, an event mentioned in all four canonical Gospels.
In many Christian churches, Palm Sunday is marked by the distribution of palm leaves (often tied into crosses) to the assembled worshippers.
