Kirk Franklin has joined forces with House of Blue and its venues to kick off an all new Gospel Brunch experience that combines uplifting music and delicious food. House of Blues' Gospel Brunch experience has been a Sunday staple for more than 20 years, and recently Kirk's been heavily involved in revamping the tradition.
For the past few months, he's been visiting House of Blues locations nationwide, coming up with shows tailored for each club's individual market. No matter where he is, though, Kirk's mission is to provide guests with an experience that is infused with the contemporary gospel energy that he's known for.
"House of Blues' Gospel Brunch is an American institution, so I am honored to be working hand-in-hand with them to revitalize the experience for music fans of all ages," Kirk says in a statement. "This has really been a labor of love for me and I'm excited for everyone to see what we've created when we kick things off on Mother's Day."
The new all-you-can-eat Gospel Brunch gets underway this Mother's Day, May 12, and tickets are on sale now.
